Shoes, Shoes, Shose Part 2

For all of you who came to my first shoe party, you will probably remember how much fun it was:). For the rest who couldn't make it here's your second shot. I promise too all of you loyal supporters this is it(for the year). I promise I won't bug you any more. My cousin called me up and gave me an offer I couldn't resist, and neither should you. Her holiday special is: for every $25 you spend you get $15 of the purchase of a purse, you can't beat that! Their purses and shoe's are so cute and are at a very reasonable price, starting around $20. They also make great Christmas gifts. If you want to see for yourself check it out at www.Liz@ShoeParty.com or you can call me if you have any ?'s. I hope everyone can make it even if you don't buy anything it's just fun to get together. Thanks for all your support.

Oh and I guess a date would be helpful, Tuesday, November 11th from 6:30 to 8:30. At my house!

Day 2

Second day we went to California Adventure and rode a lot of rides that morning, then that afternoon was our lunch with the princesses, where we ran into Heather and her family, what a small world. It was fun letting the girls play.
It was just Mya, Ellie, my mother-in-law and I. Eric took Macie back to the hotel for a nap and so he could get some time on his bike, he set up his trainer in our room. Ya your tellin me.
The girls had a great time although they didn't hardly touch their food. But boy did they enjoy dessert. By then the princesses were gone. We were finished way before Eric and Macie got back so we rode a lot of rides including the new Toy Story one, it was so fun. This was Ellie's favorite ride.
Mya rode Tower Of Terror, but of course we forgot to take a picture. She says she likes it now.
We watched the parade and waited for Eric. We rode more rides and shopped a little. My favorite was Turtle Talk with Crush it was so cute. The kids were oddly impressed with the bread and tortilla factory too. Mya also liked Soarin over California. That was pretty cool.
The end of another great day!

Disneyland

So after i saw cute Anji's blog it motivated me to begin Blogging our Disney trip. I'm going to follow in her footsteps and do a day at a time.

First I just want to say we had a fabulous time, nothing to sweat. The kids were great, I think they were in shock at all the things to see, because while we were at the parks they didn't even say a whole lot, I think they were just taking it all in. It also seemed to talk until we got home for it all to sink in.
So first off we stopped in St.George fora few days to visit some friends and my Dad, I think the girls had just as much fun playing with their friends Luke and Leah as they did in Disneyland. (Meri if you read this thanks again for letting us crash there).

Then it was on to Eric's cross race in Vegas, he did great even starting like 60 guys back at the start. He ended up taking third, he totally could have gotten first if he'd had more time. We also got to watch Lance Armstrong race and he even ate the cement right in front of us, he was fine luckily.
The next morning we picked up Eric's Mom at the airport and started the drive to Anaheim. We got t o our hotel, unloaded and then headed to the park. We had from 4:00 to 8:00, (since it was Thursday), to see as much as we could.
Of course we headed straight for the castle, rode everything there including the bobsleds.

Then headed to Toontown to see and do everything there, and finished just in time to watch the parade. What a fun day!

Jean Party!

I'm sure some of you are tired of hearing about the Jean Party, so sorry you can just get back to whatever else you were doing. For those of you who don't know already I'm hosting a jean party at my house this Tuesday the 14th from 7:00 to 9:00 it's an open house but I would get here asap because they go fast, especially the popular sizes. They have things other than jeans like; purses, sunglasses, and other accessories. They are all designer names but that's not the best part, it's how great they fit! Oh ya, and they are all HALF the price. They make everyone look great, even me(or at least I think so)! :)

I will have mirrors so you can see for yourself but part of the fun is you have all your best girlfriends there to tell you what looks best, and do girlfriends ever lie? NO.

I hope you all can make it if you need my address post me a comment with your email and I'll get it to you. It's going to be lots of fun and oh ya of course there will be some good food! If you want more info you can check out their blog at http://chicboutiquejeans.blogspot.com

Thanks, Jana!

P.S. We had a great time in Disneyland I'll post about that soon!

Macie 1st Birthday!

I can't believe my baby is One. :( Time goes too fast!Of course what one year old doesn't need a bike, or two.
My sisters are taking over my toys
My new funny face
Yum my very own cake
Taste as good as it looks and smells!

Hike Time!

A few weeks ago we took Mya and Ellie on a hike we got them new hiking shoes and their own Camelback's. I ended up carrying Ellie's but other than that they did great, it was fun.

Then the next week they stared with Gram and we took Macie and went up South Hollow in Grantsville.

We saw some cute baby deer.

24th of July

I took the girls and we went down to Spanish Fork we watched the parade and went to the carnival and rode some rides. Wow what a ripoff $23 dollars for each to ride like 5 rides, but they had a blast so it was worth it. Here's some pictures! I didn't have any of Macie so I threw in one from at the pool.

Can't sleep

Last night I was laying in bed trying to go to sleep, but my mind just kept going. One of the many things going through my head was, for no particular reason, how many cars we have had since we got married. Lets see if I can remember them all.

Just before we started dating I went out and bought an 1999 Infinity G20, I had wanted one for a while. I thought it would be a good car if I happened to meet the right guy and start a fam. The car I was driving before that was my college car my 89 red Mustang convertible, fun car but not for a family and it was getting up there on the miles. Before that was my very first car my 84 Accord, great little car. I ran it right out.

Ok so when we got married Eric had a newer Accord, but with a new (to us) house and a lot of fixing up to do. He thought he needed a truck so he bought a used Chevy truck and sold the Accord. Well shortly after that Mya was on her way then soon Ellie too so Eric didn't think my G20 was big enough so we went out on Christmas eve and bought us a brand new 05 Honda Pilot. That was a good suv. Well for some reason Eric decided to sell his truck and go back to a car so what did he buy but another Accord this one a few years old. Then his sister was going to buy a new car so he also bought he Cavalier off of her. Then we decided to sell our house and see where life took us, so we moved in with my mom somewhere in there he sold he accord and decided to but what, but another truck this time he got a cute little used Toyota Tacoma. Then some point around now we purchased or first van a Honda Odyssey, also used. Then he sold the Tacoma. We were in the process of building our house and decided to sell the Pilot, to free up some cash. then went the Caviler. Then came the Mazda Protege5 Which I think was his longest keep at just under two years along with the van. Next was the selling of the Protege then we bought our new but used as well Odyssey. So with two mini vans we were quite the family. Eric thought he would keep the van and drive it around that didn't last but a couple months then he saw a great deal on a new, yes new this time Subaru Legacy. I tried to talk him out of it but I guess I'm a push over. I think I got them all in there. Is this unusual, or are there others out there like him?

4th Of July!

Our 4th was pretty basic, we went to the good old Magna parade, where the kids got so much candy. Then had a bbq at our house with some of our family, yum. Then sat around for awhile to let our food settle. After everyone left we headed to Tooele where some friends invited us out for some fun. They had a pinata for the kids and then after they let off a ton of fireworks! It was also good because from their backyard we could watch the big ones at Millers Raceway, they were great I swear they lasted like 45min. On our way back home as we came around the Mtn. we saw the fire on the hill. That was crazy to see. I'm just glad they had it under control, we could see it from our house. I would have got a picture but the batteries in my camera were dead.

Happy Birthday Eric

Yesterday was Eric's 30th birthday, wow where does time go. So I had planned on taking him to dinner at Tepenyaki's, (where we have tried to go but it was always to busy. On our way he said he wanted to go to Famous Daves where we have gone to often, I should (being HIS birthday) have said fine but instead I kind of threw a fit on how he never tries new things. So we ended up at Tepenyaki's where he sulked the whole time. I had heard the food was great, it was just alright and not worth the $ you pay, and Eric doesn't like veggies which is half the meal. So that was pretty much a bomb. At dinner I gave him his card and a gift cert. to go golfing. Which he was way to excited about. Not!

Luckily dinner was over fast so we decided to go see the new Will Smith movie, after we got our seats I went out to call Eric's Mom (who had our girls) to tell her. She told me the family was coming over in 45 min of cake(which I had planned i just didn't know they were coming so early) so I went into the theatre to tell Eric. So we came out and got a refund had headed home.

Everyone was at my house waiting for the birthday boy. We sang, ate the cake and then visited with fam while Eric was in the other room on the Internet. Then to top off the great evening we went outside and pulled weeds in the yard.

So I pretty much think this is my last attempt at birthdays for him. I suck! Sorry honey Happy Birthday anyways. I love you!

Camping Adventure

Last weekend we decided at the last minute to go on a camping adventure. So Saturday afternoon we pack up the old tent trailer and hit the road. We didn't really have a plan, we knew we were going to go through Spanish Fork Canyon to look at some land for sale in Fairview. We have a trailer and friend is giving us we just need to find a nice, cool, mountain place to put it.

Nice huh! Well none of the places we saw were just right.

So we continued down to Manti where Eric knew of a trailer park. So we pulled in to there about 9:00pm and took their last available spot. We didn't realize the Manti Mormon Pageant was going on that weekend. We thought what the heck let's take the kids over and check it out. We got there about an hour late(10:30)and the kids lasted about a half hour..
We drove back to the trailer got ready for bed and finally got to sleep around 12:00. Well at 4:30 Macie woke up, it was getting pretty cold so I decided to put her in bed next to me( she was in her fold out bed next to us). This was a bad idea because shes not used to sleeping with anyone and she never did go back to sleep, and neither did I. So around 5:30 or so I took her outside so we wouldn't wake the others I made her a bottle and we hung out in the van.
Then when everyone got up we got dressed and drove to McD's for breakfast. Then to Walmart for some stuff(like mosquito repellent)and then packed up, and headed to Richfield were Eric's Aunt lives. When we got there we got to swim in her nice pool (ya not really camping I know). The girls loved it. Macie took a nice 3 hour nap. Then we grabbed a early dinner and swam again. She insisted we sleep in he house so we didn't have to sleep in the trailer, That was a relief after the night before.

After another swim in the pool(behind the brown fence), we got ready and started off for home. Eric couldn't make that easy either I think he took the longest route on all the back roads. He wants to ride his bike from our house to St. George one of these days so he's in search for the best route. Ya he's got a screw loose as my Mom puts it.

In all we had a very nice time and the kids did very well. Eric wants to try another adventure this weekend up north to Malad Idaho, for Welsh Days. Sounds like to much fun.

Celebrity Look- alikes

Mya 's Graduation!

Mya is growing up so fast I can't believe she graduated for her first year of preschool. She went to a neighbor of my Mom's(Mrs. Bev). Mya loved it and made lots of new friends.
Their graduation was at Hunter Library in one of the extra rooms. I wasn't sure if she was going to sing , before when they did a program for the parents she wouldn't do anything. This time the room was packed with parents and grandparents and she sang every song. I was so proud. I guess she likes a crowd. Here are some cute pictures.

Anniversary Update

It is so nice to get away for a couple of days. It goes by so fast though.

The beautiful flowers Eric sent me(and Mya's from her graduation). His Aunt owns Especially For You, downtown.

The Zermott Resort in Midway where we stayed. It was beautiful. It had it's own miniature golf course, so we did that one night, I won actually. I think that's a first.
On our way home we stopped in Park City and rode the new Alpine Coaster. It was so fun. We tried to do the Alpine Slide but when we got to the top to come down it started raining (barely) so they wouldn't let us go. We ended up riding the ski lift back down the mtn.

We also rode the Heber Creeper but we forgot the camera. It just happened to be Thomas The Train weekend there were so many kids. We luckily rode a different train.
