Poor Baby Macie

Wednesday night I got home from Bunco(good times) to find out that my husband was at Primary Children's Emergency with my 7 month old. She had pulled herself up to our play size wooden chair, it slipped and fell on the hardwood floor and sent her following. She hit her brow bone on something and split it clean open. So after six long hours and six stiches, we got back home around 2:30 am. My poor little girl, she is still adorable. It unfortunately hasn't slowed her down one bit.

I wanted to also take this time to thank my awesome husband. This is the second emergency visit he has dealt with without me. Also a thank you to both our parents for being there for us at a moments notice. My mom came down at 11:30pm so I could go be with them at the hospital. Eric's parents came down until I got home from Bunco.

My first job was working part time at Nordstroms, along with Jessie (bff) and Val my other good friend. We cleaned up after pigs in the dressings rooms. WOW! Some women. We would take mounds of clothes to the back where we folded, rehung and sorted out the ones from other departments. It would have been a drag if it weren't for eachother. We made it fun and who doesn't love a good discount.

Next would be one of my favorites The Reel Theatre. Probabally another drag if not for good friends and free everything (well almost). Free movies, drinks, popcorn, and we would often trade movie passes for Francescos garlic cheese pizza, Yum! Little did I know I would later end up marring one of the managers (Katie) brother.

Through college I worked nights at good old Discover Card. I mean really who hasn't worked there. Hated the job there again, but the people I worked with again saved me. Plus I met more guys and went on more dates than I would have thought possiable. Some good most Baaad!

After I finnished college(SLCC Cosmetology) I stayed at Discover and picked up working days at all famous Great Clips. That just being temporary until the Follicle opened. Started there the first week it opened and was there up until a year ago last November when my hubby put in a great salon for me in my basement. Hollie brought up the idea of comming to work at my house with me, it sounded like a good idea and it has been nice having her there. She keeps me smiling.

I love doing hair not only because of my awesome clients but I do really enjoy it, it's like a hobbie I get paid to do. I hope I can continue for many more years. Good luck Hillary, let me know if I can do any thing to help.

Must get there good looks from Dad !!

Shoes, Shoes, Shoes

Ok everyone, don't make any plans (or buy any shoes) for Thursday April 3rd. My cousin is driving her huge shoe trailer up from Spanish Fork for our shoe party (at my house). The open house will run from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. Iwould get here early to avoid the rush. She has all the fun new spring and summer trends. If you would like to preview them you can go to, and look under Liz's shoes.
The sizes range from 5-10 for women and 9-4 for girls. Don't worry you get to try them on before purchasing them, and then you take them home when you leave.
This sounded so fun and also just a good excuse to have a girls get together without all our kids. If you cant find a sitter I still want you to come there's plenty for them to do here.
Also don't feel presured to buy I just want to get eveyone together and have fun. If you have any ?'s please let me know.

I know, not what everyone would expect for my first blog. I'll get with it.
